They say it takes a village to raise a child and we are proud of our "village” in the Cedar Valley. By coming together for the good of our children, we are able to set up their future for success. As a non-profit organization, we rely on the kindness of our community to make contributions to our cause. Our mission

At Cedar Valley Kids Child Care Center, we provide a welcoming and child-friendly environment that welcomes partnerships from various dimensions of our community into our safe space to expose children to the rich diversity of the Cedar Valley.

Our Purpose

Cedar Valley Kids Child Care Center was formed from the work of the Black Hawk Child Care Coalition. Members of the Coalition worked together to develop solutions for the business and childcare community. The idea came from a local Human Resources Manager who shared data about his company’s turnover costs. His wish was that we create a model where businesses could reserve childcare spaces to recruit and retain talent in the Waterloo and Cedar Falls area. Cedar Valley Kids is a non-profit child care center. Our goal is to provide quality child care for employees in the Cedar Valley.  Children enrolled in the Center will receive educational development experiences and quality programming to prepare them for life.

Cedar Valley Kids is excited to be able to use Playground. An application that allows parents to receive live information about what their children are doing throughout the schooldays. Playground allows parents to easily view their child's registration, and checked in/out status, as well as easily communicate with our wonderful teachers.
